Njuz.net is the biggest and to many people favorite satiric news portal in the Balkans. Njuz.net has more then 800.000 visits and over 2.000.000 page views per month.Under the slogan "News in the mirror", it's fake news have been picked up and published by many international media houses. Njuz.net website and the team behind it have been awarded many recognitions, among which are the social media activism award and several the best website awards.

Due to a wide variaty od different formats that the team behind the news portal was publishing on a regular basis, they were spending a lot of time getting the news into the appropriate format. Mostly manually or with an extensive help of Photoshop, doing similar, repetative tasks almost every day.. This was a huge time waster and a creativity killer, so the team needed a way to automate most of those tasks into a plug and play modules.

We redesigned the whole website and created whole new back-office with many new custom plugins and modules that enebled them to just fill in the text fileds or upload some photos and get everything automated and done.

We also had the task to increase the number of page views, since that's what drives the primary source of revenue - banner ads paid per display. We've come up with an idea to implemented an infinite scroll, and enable viewer to scroll and auto-load new articles, making the reading more convinient. We managed to instantly increase the number of page views by more then 30%.

We're proud of making from scratch a fully custom, reliable and secure WordPress website that now has more then 500.000 unique visitors and more then 2.000.000 page views each month.
